John Lennon’s Sgt Pepper’s Gypsy Caravan

A Priceless Gift

Hidden from public view for more than 40 years, this delight making treasure was found at the former Beatles home. It had originally been owned by John Lennon and then Ringo Starr. Now donated for benefit of charity, it becomes a beautiful restoration, arts, film and fundraising project which we will be commencing in the next few weeks …

The Sgt Pepper’s Gypsy Caravan

Our Vision

This project originally presented itself as an opportunity to restore an iconic piece of history from the spiritual revolution of the 60s, with the simple purpose of being able to raise money for charity through auction or lease, but we feel that it has a lot more to bring to the world if it can stay in the public domain.

During the restoration we will be doing more than just piecing together this very special caravan. We will also bring out its orginal magic and value as a taker of journeys and conveyer of entertainers, free spirits and showmen alike; rebirthing it as a storyteller and as a catalyst for conversations, inspiration and connector of people.

A broken caravan
With stories to tell and
Songs to sing
A journey to take
Peace and healing to bring

Our vision for this project is to make the restoration itself a platform for building a new legacy through film, creating a project that can be shared and enjoyed with people across the world. The next journey of this caravan we hope will be one that continues to evolve the 60s revolution of consciousness, with a call to lightness of being and a destination of peace, joy and a world Governed by Love.

The Drawing Board

It is going to be a major undertaking to restore to its playful, joyous essence, but then you could see that as a mirror of many things today, including humanity. And in that sense the restoration of this wonderful caravan represents, and provides a symbol of, much much more.

Given the amazing number of people who have been touched by John Lennon, The Beatles and their legacy, we feel that this fun loving project offers an incredible opportunity to connect, collaborate, heal and re-inspire the beautiful spirit born of its era, and to celebrate the successes that were born of the time. The children of the age have grown up, as have their children …

What can be celebrated?

What can we learn?

What gifts can we now give to those who will follow?

Beautiful Things for Beautiful Causes

The funds raised from the caravan will be invested into peace, in all senses, including : inner peace, peace education, forgiveness, healing from abuse and trauma, prevention of bullying, violence, animal cruelty, post war healing through to environmental peace.
