Imagine a place you can go….
when you are pregnant, or a new muma.Where you can take time to relax, drink tea, chat with others, and then enjoy a nurturing massage or holistic treatment.
Where you and your partner….
can take classes together as you excitedly await your new arrival.
Imagine no more….
you can feel supported as you meet the many challenges of having a new baby. Meet other muma’s and share the amazing journey of motherhood, knowing that you are not alone. Joining classes with your little ones as you both grow.
The Muma Baby Sanctuary invites you to our beautiful haven, offering an abundance of holistic complementary treatments, inspiring workshops, classes and gatherings.
The Muma Baby sanctuary also has a beautiful range of natural products, for both you and your baby.
Created by Samsara and Sharon, the Mumababy Sanctuary is very much a joint venture.
Samsara brings her wealth of knowledge and experience as a mother of four children, a foster carer and as a doula and childbirth educator for many years, both in this country and Australia. She has a passion for women and it was her dream to create a place where women, families and their baby’s could come and feel nourished and supported antenataly, postnataly and in the early years.
Sharon ran the Sanctuary Cafe in Hove where she created a haven for the local community, she has a great passion for children and has worked as a nanny and foster carer.
Their vision for the Mumababy Sanctuary is that it is a place of welcome and support, a place where women and men can come in and relax, its not just about booking a wonderful treatment, but equally important is the opportunity to sit, to talk, to take time to develop community together, so that we can support each other on the journey of parenthood. So often new parents can feel isolated and alone. They don’t always know where to go to access help, but here at the Mumababy Sanctuary parents don’t have to be on their own, they can feel free to drop in anytime and discuss current issues, to breastfeed, to book a treatment etc. Sharon and Samsara hope it will also serve the community in helping women with their birth choices, being a hub of information and education.
