Neil [Ned] Bryant is at present employed by the Lismore Men & Family Centre as a facilitator of groups for men dealing with anger management, loss & grief, building self-esteem & how best to meet change. Neil says he has been blessed & challenged by his involvement in “master classes” by such teachers as Margot Spencer, Brendan Nicholls, David Deida, Rosie Stave, the Shematrix collective, the trustees & leaders of the Pathways Foundation & the ultimate facilitators, his wife & three children.
He says ” I’m as certain as I can be that between birth & death there’s maintenance, and I feel fortunate to co-facilitate that which I need in my own life”.
Ned attempts to avoid arguing with reality- sometimes successfully- as he realises that change is the only constant. In 2001 he was invited to join and work with an amazing group of men known as the Manscape Architects who presented the program ‘Journey into the Heart of the Masculine’ offering contemporary rites of passage for men.
This work has now evolved into Heart & Hara which he has co-facilitated for 4 years with Gary Simpson & Wolfgang Wildgrace.
